The purpose of the Reach for Home Transitional Housing Program is to provide opportunities and support for Participants to work toward self-sufficiency, independence and permanent housing. Participants work with a Program Manager to help them access resources and services that will help them make necessary changes in their lives. Further, the Program offers Participants the opportunity to develop a good credit history and positive rental history, to gain self-confidence and to become self-sufficient.

Reach for Home Receives Funding Awards for Housing Programs In 2019/2020

Reach for Home is proud to announce the following funding awards for housing programs in 2019/2020:

  • $50,000 - to replace roofs and put in solar at existing homes, replace flooring in one unit and correct drainage issue at one unit

  • $825,000 - to purchase 2 homes or add 8 units of PSH housing in north county

  • $62,621 - to provide rent stabilization funds for families/individuals needing assistance in rapid rehousing in the north county

  • $50,000 - to pay for additional staff and medical/mental health street team for outreach in the north county

  • $125,000 - to pay for additional clinicians/case managers for permanent supportive housing in the north county

The City of Healdsburg was also granted $500,000 to build a Navigation Center in between Victory Apartment Units. The Navigation center will provide access to agencies that provide supportive services for the homeless in the north county.
